DANA STALLINGS

An experienced veteran, Ms. Stallings brings more than sixteen years of spa experience and passion with her to Creative Spa Concepts. She attended San Diego State University, where she majored in International Business with an emphasis in Marketing. What began as a part time college job at La Costa Resort and Spa, evolved into a lifelong passion and career in the Spa industry. Ms. Stallings is well-versed in all aspects of Management–from operations to marketing, and has successfully guided and managed the top Resort Spas, Day Spas, and Club Spas in San Diego, California.

Ms. Stallings has a successful track record, and positive visibility within the spa and hospitality industry. Guided with that experience and knowledge she is a frequent contributor to trade publications, industry resources and articles.

Most recently, Ms. Stallings entered into a joint ventureship to develop and create one of San Diego’s most successful Day Spa businesses, Spa Velia. She was involved in every aspect of planning, preparing for, and opening this business. The team was able to complete the entire build-out before the projected due date and under budget. Additionally, under her direction daily operations have run so smoothly, that little ownership management has been required. Enjoying the trappings of a successful spa business, Ms. Stallings is now sharing her knowledge and experience with many CSC’s clients.

For the past two years, she has served on the International Spa Association (ISPA) Education Committee’s Special Task Force which was responsible for creating the Standard Operations Procedures and other tools to benefit ISPA members. Ms. Stallings was recently appointed as the Education Committee Chair for ISPA for 2006.
